We made another extremely-technology focused Mt. Bike short. The Smokey short was inspired by all aspects of riding bikes, including building trails and searching out new spots in all seasons. The fit is a little more athletic compared to the Empire Short with a slightly slimmer fit. Similar great material to the Empire short, in that it can take a crash or branch and not blow up.
